Almost all organizations utilize the internet to interface with their constituents, measure their impact, or gather knowledge. Having a strong foundation in digital analytics--measuring, analyzing, modeling, and investigating digital data from web-based applications--has therefore been a focus of my work. I seek to help organizations understand how well they are reaching their goals and their intended users, visualize and evaluate site usage and content efficiency, and improve user experiences.
My work has included testing and validating digital analytics tools, producing visualizations and interactive dashboards to serve a diverse array of organizational needs, developing reporting tools, and executing in-depth, ad hoc analyses and investigations. This work includes large platforms serving millions of daily visitors, as well as small personal websites and blogs. I frequently use Google Analytics, Google BigQuery, WebTrends, and Amazon RedShift, and have experience with several tools for external visualization and analysis, including Tableau, R, and RStudio's Shiny.
